2023 Alumni Golf Tournament Recap

On a sunny, 72-degree day in October, the 16th Alumni Golf Classic returned to Hunter Memorial Golf Course in Meriden. On a warm autumn day, a new record was set.

Congratulations to the 2-man Best Ball Team winners, Alex Shutak, Sigma (’00) and Brendan Thomas, Upsilon (’01), with a team score of 82.

About that record, Brendan’s victory was his 4th, making him the all-time winner of this event. Alex’s victory was his 3rd; he’s now tied for 2nd most wins.

 Closest-to-the-Pin on Hole Winners: Eric Robie, Theta (’95) and Alex Shutak, Sigma (’00), both of who left with $75 in cash.

 And in the Ryder Cup-style team match, Team Gold won 79-89. It was not a fair fight. A special thank you to all the alumni who played!
